The most special thing that this area has to offer is the Red Sea. The perfect turquoise water, filled with coral reefs and colorful fish, is the focal point of any vacation spent here. It is ideal for any water sport, as it is calm, warm and the underwater nature is screen-saver perfect.

Take a tour of the city
Even though it is not a big city, Hurghada has its charm. It is a good idea to take a guided tour of the city, to be able to discover the most beautiful parts. You can enjoy a shopping spree at the local bazaar, that is filled with amazing spices and oriental perfumes.
Another good idea is to go to the Marina. The promenade area is beautiful and full of life. The colorful buildings alongside the harbor will catch your eyes and the picture-perfect water will convince you to stay for a coffee and admire the view.

Snorkeling
This is a thing that you can do anywhere in this area. Whether you go snorkeling at your hotel, or take special snorkel tours, everywhere incredibly beautiful marine life will surround you. The snorkeling tours are a must, as they are cheap and super fun. They have special places, where you can snorkel above coral reefs.
A snorkeling tour usually includes transportation, two snorkel destinations, drinks on board and some of them even provide lunch. You will discover the most amazing underwater life and will be something to remember.
Scuba Diving
If you love the underwater world, for sure you must try scuba diving. They will take you to the most beautiful diving spots. The tours usually include transportation, 2 dives, snorkeling between them, drinks and lots of fun.
The Red Sea offers some of the most amazing underwater images, with beautiful corals and colorful fish. You will feel so connected with the nature and amazed by everything. My first scuba diving experience was here and, at first, I was a little bit scared. It all went away when I went underwater. I was completely absorbed by the view, by the tiny little rainbow-colored fish and the beautiful corals. It is something unbelievable.

Parasailing
If you want a little bit of an adventure, this is what you need to do. It is not dangerous; everything is secured and safe. Parasailing is one of my favorite things to do. To be able to float up in the air, while admiring the beautiful coast line of Hurghada, is just wow.
The parasailing tours are usually provided by the hotels. They will take you from the hotel beach with a speed boat. The ride itself was super fun. After that, you will be transferred to the parasailing boat.
We were lucky that we had a super fun experience. At the end, when they have to bring us down, to make it more fun, they bumped us in the water. After that, they lifted us again and bumped us again. It was super fun and the views are spectacular.
Enjoy the beaches
Nothing beats a perfect, relaxing day at the beach. The warm weather and the Red Sea at the perfect temperature, make the best possible combination for a great day. Hurghada has an amazing coastal line, filled with great beaches, usually at big resorts. It is like a competition between them, who can arrange and provide the best beach day for their customers.
